I just listened to your podcast & I’m sitting here chuckling. You couldn’t be more on point. So many people in sales/marketing have such a hard time getting the clear and valuable points you made. My personal favorite, spun in my own words is that, contacting another needs to be about them, not about me. If my focus is on being of service to them (commonly & recently called adding value), I can pretty much guarantee I’m going to be top of mind for them.
